Admission
Students should be 3 years old for the LKG and 5 years old for the First Standard.
 

The school reserves the right to remove a student from the rolls on grounds if irregular attendance, habitual lack of application. Indiscipline and objectionable behavior not in keeping with the spirit of Alphonsa School Students or guilty of any malpractice at examinations will be immediately dismissed from the school

 PAYMENT OF FEES

School fees will he collected in three instalments
First Instalment: May 19-24
Second Instalment; October 1 - 15
Third Instalment: January 1 - 15
A fine will he collected from the students who remit the fee after these dates.

 
A written leave application should be submitted to the class teacher before taking leave. This should be noted down in the 'Absence Record' in the diary and signed by the Principal on the day when the student returns
If a student is absent due to illness or unavoidable reasons for more than a week the Principal must be informed in writing without delay

 
There are three terminal - 1 Term, II Term and Annual - and three mid-terminal examinations. For Std X and XII students there will be Monthly Tests as well
The pass mark in each subject is 40.
The promotion is based on the average pass mark   obtained in the terminal examinations

 
  Tuesday to Saturday For Boys

KG - Navy blue shorts, light blue checked shirt, School belt, Black shoes and Blue with white striped Socks

Std I to V - Dark ash shorts, striped half sleeved white Shirt, school belt. Black shoes and ash with white striped Socks.

Std VI to X - Dark ash Pants. Striped half sleeved white Shirt, school belt, Tie

Std XI & XII  - Ash colour full sleeved striped shirt, ash Colour Pants, school belt, Tie                                              

Foot wear - Black shoes and ash colour socks
 

Tuesday to Saturday for Girls

KG - Frock with Light blue tops and Navy blue bottom, black ribbons. Black shoes, Blue with White striped Socks             

Std 1 to V - Dark ash skirt, striped white shirt, black ribbons, Black shoes and ash with White striped Socking.

Std VI to X - Chudithar with striped white tops and dark ash bottom, overcoat. Black ribbons Std XI & XII - Ash colour salwar kameez with dupatta, black ribbons                                           

Foot wear - Black shoes and ash colour socks

Hair Style - Girl students up to V standard are advised to bob their hair and use hair band. Girl students those who have long hair must dress it in pigtails, (braids)

  Monday and special occasions
Full White uniform in the above pattern
Students must come in full uniform on all working days except on their birthdays, LKG to Std V students need not wear uniforms on Fridays.. Students from Std. III onwards are not permitted to wear sleeveless shirts and tops. Students from Std. VI onwards are not permitted to wear sleeveless, to wear Jeans and T-Shirts in the school campus
